Evan Haney

Attorney

Before joining the law firm in 2025, Evan began his legal career working as an Assistant Solicitor with the Seventh Judicial Circuit Solicitor’s Office under Solicitor Barry Barnette. Beginning in Spartanburg County and later transitioning to Cherokee County, Evan prosecuted over a thousand cases, ranging from DUI to Murder.

Evan worked closely with law enforcement in building violent crime cases and understands what the government needs for a conviction. With this insight, he can strategize and advise clients throughout South Carolina on navigating the complex criminal justice system.

When talking about practicing law, Evan stated, “I love meeting new people and find joy in helping them with whatever problem they’re going through.”

While in law school, he helped several non-profit organizations located all over the world, including Washington, DC and Benin. When not in the courtroom or meeting with clients, Evan is spending time with his family, going to University of South Carolina football games, and performing music.
